Typically, you can only sign up for health insurance during open enrollment periods on an annual basis. However, a change in your situation — like getting married, having a baby, or losing health coverage — can make you eligible for a special enrollment period. PrestigePEO has made all federal and state compliance posters accessible online for onsite and remote employees. Traditionally, compliance posters, or labor law postings, are posted in a public forum inside your office, often in a break area for all employees to read. These posters include information such as the whistleblower protection law, minimum wage notices, and other items like FMLA and FLSA.

These are reviewed, updated, and available for all employees, regardless of whether they are telecommuting or in the office, at any time via the PrestigePRO employee portal.

You can access these posters by following the instructions below:

  • Log into the PrestigePRO employee portal.
  • Scroll down on the left-hand sidebar and click “Federal/State Posting Notices.”
  • This will bring you to a new page titled “Employee Poster Viewing Center.”
  • Click on the dropdown box beneath this heading and select the state where you physically work.
  • Once you select your state, you’ll see the following options:
    • State
    • Federal
  • Click through your options to review each notice and download the files to keep them as references.

It's That Time of the Year Again! How to Confirm your Personal Information for your W-2

The year is drawing to a close, making it a great time to review your personal information for an accurate W-2. Our 2023 Year-End Guide provides step-by-step directions on how to confirm your personal information, including your contact information, mailing address, and tax withholding. Additionally, you can elect to receive your W-2 electronically – you can do this directly in the PrestigePRO employee portal.

Review the following information PrestigePEO has on record to ensure your W-2 is filed correctly:

  • Personal information – Name, Resident Address, Mailing Address & W-2 Address
  • Tax Withholding – Federal Withholding status, State Withholding status (if applicable) and Local Withholding status (if applicable)

You’ll find detailed instructions on confirming your personal information in PrestigePRO in the guide below. Your W-2 will be available electronically and if you didn’t opt in for an electronic W-2 it will also be mailed on or prior to January 31st. FSA Commuter Benefits

New FSA and Commuter Limits for 2024

The IRS has announced the following new contribution limits for 2024:

Flexible Spending Accounts

  • Healthcare Flexible Spending Account – $3,200 (increase of $150)
  • Flexible Spending Account Carryover Maximum – $640 (if applicable; increase of $30)
  • Dependent Daycare Account – $5,000 (no change)
  • Adoption Assistance – $16,810 (increase of $860)

Commuter Benefits Accounts

  • Parking Benefit – $315 (increase of $15)
  • Transit Benefit – $315 (increase of $15)

The deadline to enroll or re-enroll in FSA for 2024 is December 31, 2023. Note: If you are currently enrolled and have unused 2023 funds available, you may roll over up to $610 in funds into 2024.

We are excited to announce that our PrestigePRO technology interface is about to undergo a significant upgrade. Labor law posters are an important and useful resource to inform you of your rights. We want to remind you to review these posters often, as they are updated frequently. These posters are located in high-traffic areas, like a lunch room or kitchen in your office.

In addition to worksite posters, if you are a work-from-home or telecommuter employee, you should receive digital posters via email from compliance@prestigepeo.com every time there is an update.

For your convenience, all poster copies are accessible on the PrestigePRO employee portal.

  • Log in to PrestigePRO and locate “State Posting Notices” on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Once there, the dropdown box will ask you to click on your state.

Your UHC Vision and MetLife Dental benefits

If you have signed up for UHC Vision and MetLife Dental benefits, we want to remind you that you will not be mailed a benefits card.

UHC Vision does assign specific ID numbers; however, your provider can look up your benefits through your social security number. By registering on their website, you can print a card if you would like to. To learn more, click the UHC Vision button below.

MetLife Dental does not assign specific ID numbers. Dental benefits can only be looked up through your social security number. To learn more about your dental benefits and print a benefits card, please register by clicking on the MetLife Dental button below.

Please note: when accessing your dental benefits, you will be asked to type the name of your organization. Please enter Prestige Employee Administrators LLC.

2023 Medicaid Renewal Process

For the last three years, Medicaid did not reassess those receiving Medicaid benefits, and they were automatically renewed. On April 1, 2023, Medicaid began reassessing all beneficiaries and adjusting renewals accordingly.

Medicaid status

If you are enrolled in Medicaid, maintaining your eligibility can depend on several factors, including changes in income, household size, age, and disability status. State Medicaid agencies started processing eligibility redeterminations on February 1, 2023, and began terminating coverage for people who no longer qualify on April 1, 2023. If you are enrolled in Medicaid, the exact date of your renewal will depend on your state. Your state Medicaid agency should contact you with instructions on any action steps you may need to complete.

Coverage options

If you no longer qualify for Medicaid and your enrollment is being terminated, there are ways to stay covered. Losing Medicaid coverage is a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) because it may impact your health insurance. Experiencing a qualifying life event means you can immediately enroll in a new health plan as part of a special enrollment period.

Most people have three options:

  1. A health plan through work
  2. A health plan offered through the Health Insurance Marketplace at healthcare.gov
  3. Medicare, if you are 65 or older

If you need to sign up for another health plan, the special enrollment period is typically 30 or 60 days.

Special enrollment

If you miss your special enrollment period, you must wait until the next annual open enrollment period to sign up for coverage. These typically start on November 1, for start dates of January 1. Once enrolled in a new health plan due to a special enrollment period, your coverage usually begins on the first day of the month following eligibility.

It’s all available on your PrestigePRO dashboard and while you’re on the go, you can access their contact info via the PrestigeGO app. Above is an example of what you will see when you log in to your dashboard. You can also click the picture above to link directly to your PrestigePRO login.

Your Prestige HRBP can answer things like “how do I reset my password?” or “what should I use my mobile app for?” Payroll Specialists can also field questions regarding your paycheck and how to update your work-state or home-state. It's That Time of the Year Again!
How to Access and Review Your W-2 Forms

The end of the year is coming soon, and now is a great time to review your W-2. Our 2022 Year-End Guide will give you instructions on confirming all your personal information, including your contact information, social security number, and tax withholding. Additionally, you can elect to receive your W-2 electronically – you can do this directly on the PrestigePRO employee portal.

Family benefiting from FSA benefits

New FSA and Commuter Limits for 2023

The IRS has announced the following new contribution limits for 2023:

Flexible Spending Accounts

  • Healthcare Flexible Spending Account – $3,050 (increase of $200)
  • Flexible Spending Account Carryover Maximum – $610 (if applicable; increase of $40)
  • Dependent Daycare Account – $5,000 (no change)
  • Adoption Assistance – $15,950 (increase of $1,060) 

Commuter Benefit Accounts

  • Parking Benefit – $300 (increase of $20)
  • Transit Benefit – $300 (increase of $20) 

The deadline to enroll in FSA for 2023 is December 31, 2022, and this year only, you may roll over up to $570 in funds from 2022 into 2023.

How to Contact Your Personal HR team

Did you know you have access to direct contact information for your Prestige Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), Payroll Specialist, and Benefits Specialist? It’s all available on your PrestigePRO dashboard and while you’re on the go, you can access their contact info via the PrestigeGO app. Above is an example of what you will see when you log in to your dashboard. You can also click the picture above to link directly to your PrestigePRO login.

Your Prestige HRBP can answer things like “how do I reset my password?” or “what should I use my mobile app for?” Payroll Specialists can also field questions regarding your paycheck and how to update your work-state or home-state. Finally, your Benefits Specialist can answer questions regarding plan coverage or assist with medical claims – and any other questions you may have! Don’t hesitate to reach out today!

Review Your Labor Law Posters

We wanted to remind you to review all labor law posters in your workplace as they are constantly changing.

In addition to worksite posters, if you are a work-from-home or telecommuter employee, you should be receiving digital posters via email from Compliance@PrestigePEO.com every time there is an update.

For your convenience, all poster copies are accessible on the PrestigePRO employee portal.

  • Log in to PrestigePRO, and locate “State Posting Notices” on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Once there, the dropdown box will ask you to click on your state.
  • After clicking on your state, you will see an additional dropdown box where you can click on the individual federal, state, and local postings that may be applicable. You can view or print them as you wish.
